You can wash your glasses in the dishwasher without worrying about them turning gray, but you should always use the gentle cycle and make sure that the glass cannot be mechanically damaged in the dishwasher—in other words, that it is positioned correctly, does not come into contact with other dishes, and does not get caught on the spray arms.
